the St. Louis region with a highly skilled
workforce and a strong and diversified economy.
On March 19, 2004, the St. Louis County Justice Center was rededicated "The Buzz Westfall Justice Center." Upon being elected County Executive, one of Mr. Westfall's first initiatives was to pass a bond issue to construct a new state of the art jail. Through the efforts of Mr. Westfall and his administration, the Department of Justice Services was able to create a Direct Supervision facility that provides a safe and secure environment for correctional staff to perform a difficult and demanding job.
The Justice Center is a reflection of Buzz Westfall's commitment to law enforcement and the protection of the community he loved.
